This small series of toy-like appearing slightly taller animals with bowties was originally documented by Irene Thornburg in her book entitled Collecting Salt and Pepper Shaker Series on page 58. Each set stands over 4'' in height and is marked with both a simple Japan paper label and stamped "7A324". A correct pair has 3 and 2 pour holes. Circa 1950s.
