Although advertised as "Paper Mache" on the packages, these shakers are clearly made instead with a cheap earthenware. The "Best Ever - Best Quality" is also a bit of a stretch, but they are very cute and colorful. They are likely from the 60s-70s and are Japan imports.
Each set stands about 3'' in height and has similar decorated black pupils looking at each other. Without the identical packaging, it would've been a harder series to put together. I only wonder if the series is actually complete at 5 sets.
