This series of shakers consists of books with various strange old fashion sayings and depictions of Germany / Amish-type folk and decals.  Each set is only about 2'' tall and the wood trays about 6'' in length.  Some books have 3 holes and some 2 holes.  They appear to be found in a variety of combinations and likely more examples exist that are undocumented.  Each set is stamped "Art Anson Inc" and some have original Japan paper labels.  Circa 1950s-60s.
