Native American Indian woman and baby on horse salt and pepper shakers

This set is an unusual depiction of a female Native American Indian in  a salt and pepper shaker form with her baby.  Most of the time the Indians depicted on horseback are male warriors (examples below).  This set is a Japan import from the 1950s.
