Besides needing a good cleaning, the couple on the left looks similar to the couple on the right: same style eyes, bust forms, skin tone, etc. They resemble Holt Howard salt and pepper shakers, but they are not. They stand about 3'' high and are stamped Japan. Circa 1950s-60s. Hopefully additional similar sets can be found to add to this small series of two.
