Yankee Chapter Meeting

Hello All!

It’s time for the Yankee Chapter Fall meeting!

Date: Saturday October 3, 2015

Time: 11am- 3pm

Location: Plum Memorial Library, 65 Wooster Street, Shelton Connecticut.

Directions are at the bottom of the invitation.

*The theme for this meeting is “Furry Friends”.   Bring a set that depicts the theme. Set with the most votes wins a prize!

*Bring a set for the tea cup auction, and any sets you want to sell.

*Noreen Neary is our Treasurer.  Please bring dues if you owe (or think you may owe) them.

*Did you finally find that set you’ve been searching for? Or just stumble upon a fantastic set? Learn something cool about a set or series?  Share it during “Show and Tell”.

*Lunch will be Pot Luck.  The library has a small kitchenette with a sink and small microwave.

DIRECTIONS to PLUMB MEMORIAL LIBRARY:

Coming North on I-95.

Take Exit for Route 8 NORTH – once on Rt. 8, take Exit 14. At the end of the exit, turn right and proceed 1/2 block to the traffic light. At the light, take a right onto Coram Avenue and proceed straight on Coram until you reach the end. You are now facing the library. Take a right, and the library parking lot will be on your left.

From I-95 South

Take Exit 43 (Rt.22 North), connect with Rt. 34 West, then Rt. 8 South to exit 14. At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Rt. 110 North (Howe Ave.). Go six blocks to traffic light at White Street.  Take a left. Go one block to Perry Avenue. Take a right. Library parking lot is at the end of Perry Avenue.

From Route 8 South

Take Exit 14. At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Rt. 110 North (Howe Ave.) go six blocks to traffic light at White Street. Take a left. Go one block to Perry Avenue. Take a right. Parking lot is at the end of Perry Avenue.

From Merritt Parkway South

Take Exit 58 (Rt. 34 Derby). At the end of the exit, turn right onto Rt. 34 and proceed until it intersects with Rt. 8.  Take Rt. 8 South entrance and then take your first exit (Exit 14). At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Rt. 10 North (Howe Ave.) Go six blocks to traffic light at White Street. Take a left. Go one block to Perry Ave. Take a right. Library parking lot is at the end of Perry Avenue.
