This series consists of animals with embossed designs. A correct pair is identical, but with different pour holes - 3 and 2. The sets are a little more than 3'' in height. They have an Enesco Japan label which puts them in the 1960s era. It is strange that there are only five sets so far discovered in the series. Maybe another set exists out there.
This series was first documented by Irene Thornburg in her 1999 book entitled The Big Book of Salt & Pepper Shaker Series on pages 64 and 65.
