This is a newly recognized vintage series. Notice the similarities of all the elves. Each set has some association with a tree branch / stump.
Interestingly each shaker in all the sets have five pour holes, including the tree branch / stump shaker from the set in the upper right hand corner - this is the nester set of the series.
There are no markings, but this are no doubt Japan imports from the 1950s. Each set is about 3.75-4'' in height.
