Entitled "Country Cousins" by Karen Weaver and Sylvia Tompkins in their encyclopedic reference book on anthropomorphic salt and pepper shakers called Shakers Gone Wild, this series consists of 6 different vegetables dressed as simple country farming folks.

The sets are just shy of 4'' in height and are mostly marked with an old Japan import label.  A correct pair are matching shakers with different pour holes.  These sets are most likely from the 1950s.
