Animals in Flower Baskets

This is the first documentation of this series of animals sitting in baskets filled with delicate flowers.  As you can imagine, the flowers are often found chipped.  The sets are all the same size (3.5'') with identical pour holes (3&2).  They are a little variably marked and stamped, but are imports from Japan from the 1950s or 60s.  So far three different animals including two different colors of cats have been discovered.
