According to Larry Carey and Sylvia Tompkins book entitled 1005 Salt & Pepper Shakers which references miniature and maxi shakers, this series of the "Days of the Week" were imported by Enesco Corporation from Japan and were sold exclusively by Heather House of Burlington, IA.  The complete series originally sold for only $7.50.

As maxi's these shakers stand around 2'' in height (some slightly taller and some slightly smaller).  They have a day of the week (i.e. "Sunday") oval red and gold sticker on each.  And have the matching red and gold Enesco Japan sticker as well.  Circa 1950s-60s.
