These five sets of different anthropomorphic fruit are all similarly in size (4'' tall), all marked Japan, all have extensive cold paint, all wearing hats, all have skin colored arms/legs.  So no doubt they are a series.  Circa 1950s.  They are also depicted on page 15 in Sylvia Tompkin's & Karen Weaver's reference book entitled Shakers Gone Wild: Anthropomorphic Salt and Pepper Shakers.
