This small series of two sets of different fruit and vegetable guys with faces and bodies was called "Posing Pairs" by Sylvia Tompkins and Karen Weaver in their anthropomorphic salt and pepper shakers reference book called Shakers Gone Wild. They can be found on page 145 in that book. They can be found mixed and matched. Although the sets are not marked, they are likely Japan imports from the 1950s-60s. The pea pod is the tallest shaker in the series at about 3.5'' in height.
